Apple is close to releasing all-new MacBook line and a Tablet

The Plain ol' white Macbook that has been unchanged for 2-4 years (34 apple years) has been looking a little sad. This is why it gets me thinking. What is Apple going to do about their one and only "netbook-esque", low priced, Laptop that is a little outdated and has not seen a facelift in a looooong time.

These are the options that this product could take. A. Become apples sub-1000 dollar netbook.  B. Become Obsolete and be replaced by a tablet. It seems like a really black and white situation because those are the only logical options.

More after the break kids!

So what exactly is going to be coming in the next while?

We know Apple PR has been stirring the pot ever since the Tablet rumors slipped out, but what division of the Apple lineup will the tablet fit into? That's when it gets back to the A and B options above.

Plastic Macbook makeover

Apple may be updating the plastic Macbook line and may be taking it to a whole new price level, Sub 100 dollars. Apple Insider did a neat article about this very issue.

Tablet

The rumors keep pouring in and the rumors are working their ways to facts. The iPad will be hopefully making its way to retailers around Feb 2010 and that seems like a reasonable date.

Steve Chuang of Taiwan Economic Times has cited "a couple of Taiwanese suppliers of PC parts and components" in a report that claims the device will show off a price between $799 and $999. The rumored device is supposed to have a 9.6-inch touchscreen, a chip from Apple-owned P.A. Semi, built-in 3G HSDPA, and a "long lasting battery pack."

Conclusion

T3ch H3lp thinks that there will 100% be a tablet by the end of mid 2010 and hopefully new Macbooks and Macbook pro's to go along with that. There will be some hardware upgrades, new hardware and some cosmetic changes.

The Tablet will probably resemble the iPhone and Macbook Pro.
