Windows 7 logo program - 6,000 products already approved

The Windows world has gone public announcing their Windows 7 compatible products with this un-doubtably slick sticker. Set to appear on hardware, software and most new peripherals, the label is intended to reassure customers that they'll have the "optimal Windows 7 experience" thanks to "robust testing requirements" and a much longer testing cycle than the Vista / XP seal of approval.

In fact, over 6,000 products have been given a passing grade and not only computers, there is lots of peripherals and software. To be clear, this seal of approval is primarily intended for peripherals and accessories you purchase after your you get a computer, which is why testing against 64-bit Windows 7 is a requirement.

We are looking forward to the launch of Windows 7 and we ask now, what are your thoughts?
