Bioshock 2 DLC Already in the Works
Bioshock 2 is coming out in a few weeks and while it's looking great, will it live up to the huge bar that the original game had? We'll see on February 9th, but as we wait Australian Gamer has posted an interview with the Senior Systems Designer from 2K Marin, Kent Hudson, who confirms that "We are working on pretty aggressive plans for DLC and that's actually something that is already under-way."
Other than that there is no information on what it could be, since Bioshock 1 only got some extra DLC in the form of extra plasmids, a new achievement, and some challenge rooms on the PS3, it's a little bit suspenseful as to what we could expect.
Still, more DLC is never a bad thing and considering that Bioshock 2 has multiplayer we can predict new plasmids and multiplayer levels added in the near future. Whether the multiplayer is any good is up in the air, but you can check out Ricardo's CES 2010 multiplayer impressions if you want more info. The DLC also could be more challenge rooms but hopefully 2K does something more interesting than that.
Think Bioshock 2 will need more content? For multiplayer, singleplayer, or both? Will the game be good? Come back in a few weeks when the game hits store shelves for our full review.
