Xbox Live is "more juvenile" than Playstation Network
Ben Jones, developer of the upcoming Zipper Interactive game 'MAG', recently stated his opinions on the Xbox Live and Playstation Network, noting why the company believes that the Playstation 3 (and its accompanying network) is the way to go.
For those who don't know, MAG is an upcoming PS3-exclusive game that features 256-player combat on a single battlefield. A game that supports that number of people definitely encourages players to use tactics and to communicate with each other on the battlefield in order to be successful; Jones thinks that the Playstation crowd is better suited for cooperation:
"I actually consider Xbox Live the more juvenile of the two... Each service has its own posse. I think the PlayStation audience definitely fits more to our game. As we saw in the beta, we've got an audience that's willing to communicate and willing to organize and structure, and help other people to play the game. That's the most remarkable thing that I saw in the beta - random people helping other players along to try and familiarize themselves with this really cool experience."

Did you hear that 360 fanboys? You missed out on a potential hit game because of your immaturity. Serves you right for all the times I've heard 20 somethings act like 10 year olds. But then again, it's not like the PS3 really is any better. I've heard more than my fair share of profanity up in there, believe you me. I think you just don't hear that much swearing on PSN because the console doesn't come with a mic - Ooooooo!
