Google Voice Comes To iPhone Thanks To HTML5

No need to worry about all that legal mambo jumbo, Google has finally bypassed the App Store by using HTML5. The app should work on any phone that accepts HTML5 but as of now, it is geared towards the Apple and Palm devices. The app includes everything you might think it would, SMS messages, checking you inbox, and of course voicemails. To make phone calls you will select the person you wish to call, then Google Voice will prompt you to call Google who will transfer you to the person you want. The reason for this is so you can pay lower rates for domestic and international calls. The only problem of course is that your call history will be scrambled all over the place with random numbers. Hey, it's not perfect but I'm surely not complaining. Hopefully the FCC resolves the Apple vs. Google battle soon so that we can have an actual app that works even better. For now we thankfully have voice.google.com to help us access our Google Voice.
