New Smartphones will have Dual core Qualcomm Processors

Ever since the first Qualcomm smartphone, our minds have been blown. For instance, the Nexus One is one of the fastest smartphones available, thanks to its 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Hell, the Nexus is faster than the "Super computers" that rendered Star Wars Ep4.

But now they are ready to make smartphones faster then the desktop PC's of 2001. The new Qualcomm dual-core 8X72 is a monster inside of your phone, which uses two Scorpion cores to achieve 1.5GHz, and can handle 1080p video. The chip will be available, along with a 1.3 Ghz version this year.
