Blazblue: Continuum Shift Dated

July 1st, 2010 has just been announced as the Japanese release date for the console port of Blazblue: Continuum Shift. Not to be outdone by Super Street Fighter 4, Arc is not just adding new outfits to its  fan favorite fighter, but a whole slew of changes including new characters and moves:

  • 4 New characters: Tsubaki Yayoi, Hazama,  μ-12 (replacing v-13), and λ-11 (Lambda eleven)
  • Moves will be removed, added, and replaced for all the characters
  • Balance issues will be resolved to make a more well rounded gameplay experience
  • Aesthetic changes done to the artwork of the characters and game interface
  • Health bars now change from green to red relating to how much of it you have left
  • Burst mechanic has been altered to include 2 bursts per match, with the option to store them
  • New voice work done for characters and announcer
