    App of the Week: iTrust

Ladies and gents, we are back in full swing with our App of the Week reviews. This week we are taking a look at an app called iTrust.

Have you ever had those relationships or been around your friends and you wonder if they try to look at your texts when you leave your phone around? Thankfully, iTrust is here to show us what we are missing when we leave the room. The app is extremely simple, but there are some flaws.

First, take a picture of your homescreen (by pressing Sleep+Home button at the same time).

Second, select the picture within the app as your image. When the app is running it appears as your home screen but when you try and select an app it doesn’t work. People will probably get frustrated and wonder why the phone isn’t working. Still don’t understand? Watch this video showing exactly how it works in just a minute:

Now of course someone can easily press the home button and the app will close, but you will still know what programs they tried to open before they got smart. A problem I also have is that the playback is super slow and if many attempts to open apps occurred it takes forever. Who cares though - next time you and your spouse are fighting you can bring up the fact that he/she was trying to look through you text messages or phone calls. It will surely help the conversation about how much you hate each other.

It’s perfect for what it does, but it could do a little more.
