Apple invites developers to use their private testing labs
Apple is lending a hand to their developer community by allowing developers to use Apple’s “compatibility labs” to test their software, and make sure their apps work on all different systems and network configurations. Apple will be charging you $99 for a full day’s use of the labs, which includes a custom tailored configuration of any number of Apple products (no matter how old they are), and when you get hungry, they will escort you to a vending machine.
They’ll also allow you to bring up to 10 developer friends with you, and accommodate your needs with a helpful technician on-site. This may all sound great — but even though Apple says their going to give you some cake after the testing, remember: the cake is a lie!!
