Cheap Earbuds and Free Tacos

Official iPod earbuds can cost a pretty penny after you've misplaced them or accidentally let them go through a washer/ dryer ordeal. Here is a cheap alternative when you find yourself needing a replacement set of earbuds - MEElectronics AI-M2 Sound-isolating Earbud Headphones. It's a long name but the few reviews its received have nothing but good things.

Buy.com has them for $6.99 + Free Shipping

And how about some free taco's? Is Taco Bell okay? Cuz I found myself an online, printable coupon good for one free fresco taco. The only catch is that the coupon is only good until 1 million of them are redeemed. The site's small print does however say that the site will announce when they've reached the limit - saving you the embarrassment of going down to the restaurant and being told your coupon has expired.

Apple's 12 Days of Christmas in the UK

It's been customary for Apple to give out a song or two for free to help discover new artists. And just like last year they've decided to do it with a "12 Days' of Christmas" - all the songs being Christmas related. But this time it will include all media, such as free music, music videos, apps, TV episodes, or films, from some of the biggest performers from around the world.

The free stuff will only last from Dec. 26, 2009 to Jan 6, 2010, and each will only be available for 24 hours. This for some odd reason is only happening in the UK iTunes, which I believe you can access from American versions too if you switch which nations you view. Users can sign up for daily e-mail alerts at the promotion's official Website.

Comcast Promises Not To Crush Hulu!

For those who haven't seen the recent post, Comcast now owns NBC, which also means they own Hulu - a site dedicated to bringing you your favorite tv shows online. Many college students use it since most rooms don't have cable.

Comcast COO Steve Burke notes "NBC has been careful not to put too much cable content on the Internet. We think that's a smart strategy... We think that going forward, you're going to continue to have free broadcast stuff on Hulu, and cable stuff on TV Everywhere."

Rumors of a Hulu Premium are looking more and more true. Even though the deal has gone through, everything has to be approved through the FCC as well as the Justice Department.
