What exactly do people think of the iPad? - Survey

People seem to be foaming at the mouth for new iPads, I mean Apple can’t build them fast enough and they have recieved rave reviews. The fact is, people like you and I are in a bubble. We eat, live and breath technology and we have quickly fallen out of touch with the everyman and how the rest of the world looks at technology. We may see the iPad 2 as an underpowered verion of the Xoom, or a glorified netbook but the fact is, normal people (90% of the world) are going batcrap for iPads and no matter how much we bash it, it still sells like magic beans.

Onavo (iOS) - Track and shrink your data usage

Internet data throttling once was a nightmare we hoped wouldn’t ever happen, however it’s now a reality. Long past are the days of Unlimited Data plans for mobile users, with some customersr resigning to as little as 200MB. Keeping tabs on how much data you spend can be stressful, which is why we’re really digging this app called Onavo, meant to squeeze out as much possible data during your browsing sessions. — More after the break!

Running over the iPad 2 with a car - safe inside a G-Form Extreme case

So you may be wondering, why would you need so much protection for an iPad? Well why not? I mean it would be nice to have an iPad 2, but being able to make it indestructible is totally rad, and it’s not every day a case manages to pull this off. How Apple destroyed the eBook business for many companies

When you look at Apple and their book business, it’s sort of become a growth on the iOS platform. Even though it’s supposedly a huge part of their iOS ecosystem, they have gone out of their way to not mention it recently and mention of iBooks has been hidden away on the Apple website. For such a revolutionary service on such a popular range of devices in a rapidly growing (eBook) market, you might think Apple would push it a bit harder, but they aren’t. Maybe it’s because they aren’t so proud of what they’re doing…

iPad - Pulse Review

Rhythm games are a dime a dozen nowadays, but in the past they were all about the catchiest tunes, precise que’s, and not necessarily the most recognizable artists. Pulse, by Cipher Prime, is an all original game with ideas that haven’t been done before in this sort of space. Sure, we have Tap Tap Revenge on iOS, but it’s child’s play in comparison to the style and class that Pulse oozes every second you spend with it. The iPad has never sounded so good. — Our thoughts on it after the break!

App Review (iOS) - I Do Lists

There are countless to-do-list apps on the iTunes App Store but there aren’t many that keep the idea simple. No, I don’t care about priority or being able to sync across to my other computers and devices. Those have a time and a place, but sometimes I just want an endless stream of virtual paper to remember what I gotta do today or remember to get at the store. — I Do Lists gets our review after the jump!

A brief history of Apple's iPad - Infographic

It goes without saying that the iPod, iPhone and iPad have all left the tech industry scratching it’s head. It’s hard to believe that Apple managed to release a product into a dying and risky market (the tablet market) and turn it into something every other tech company wanted a part of. In the beginning, the iPad was a big joke, and nobody expected it to even dent the tech industry, and much to our surprise, the iPad has become one of the most important pieces of technology in the past two decades.
