3rd gen Apple iPod touch video surfaces

Early this week, covinoandrich uploaded some pictures and a video of the supposed new iPod touch 3rd Generation device.

The video is suspicios because the iPod is not fully intact and looks aged. The camera is very convincing but, alot of questions are left unanswered.

The article was quickly gobbled up by AppleInsider and the news spread virally on all the most popular blogs and news sources out there.

Thenew evidence, from the blog ofThe Covino & Rich Show, surfaced this week. While the initial low-quality pictures were met with skepticism, much of that appears to have died after numerous updates with better resolution photos and even a video of the purported device.

The report states that the person who sent the pictures claims to work for Apple, and the device was used for a "durability test," which is why it shows signs of damage. The device has a 2009 date on it, and the pictures include side-by-side comparisons with the 2008 model.

Top 10 Reasons You Must Have Prototype, now!

Prototype is a huge hit! And its funny, because a very similar game came out at about the same time, inFAMOUS. Both these games recieved a rating of 9 or more on varius gaming review websites and shows.

As we see in this stunning gameplay footage, it is a well polished and well optimized game for consoles. The physics system is not as good as the highly acclaimed Crysis or GTA 4, but, the way the cars, tanks, and debris goes flying around and huge explosions and shockwaves implode as Mr. Mercer hits the ground is so friggin cool!

The funny thing is that Prototype was from the creators, Radical Entertainment of a lame game called "Scarface: the world is yours" and the somwhat good game "Simpsons, hit and run". No body was prepared for a huge hit like this.

What do you think of prototype? Add any other "10 things" in the comments.

Kevin Spacey teaches us (and Letterman) about Twitter

This just goes to show, how powerful twitter is. One of the most famous actors in the world, has become a Tech-Savvy Gentlemen because of twitter and the impact of the "Twitter shock factor" of having 912, 000 (yes nine hundred and twelve thousand followers) in a matter of less than 5 months!

Twitter has become a Huge media hub for celebrities to give on-going, die-hard fans a look into their (believe it or not), almost normal lives. OMG they walk their dogs, who knew!?!?

Also twitter made a post on their Blogger.com blog about the video, from CBS's youtube channel:

David Letterman was introduced to Twitter viaKevin Spaceyon last night's Late Show. Once Dave got past the concept of typing with his thumbs he was able to characterize Twitter as "a waste of time." That's generally how Twitter was characterized in 2007 so Dave's only two years behind—we'll give him a little more time to catch up.

Kevin Rose Interviews Marissa Mayer, Google VP of Search and User Experience

Ever wonder what Google is upto these days? With Google Wave on the horizon, ready to change the way you think about email, and Bing, cocking its fists, what's on Google's mind right about now? And what is their next move? Marissa Mayer, whose long title translates to: "someone who makes sure Google stays on top," does a good job answering user submitted questions from Digg.com. She gives us a glimpse into the near future, and also helps us realize that we are only in the 1500's in terms of technology in the search engine game.

The interview runs at 23 mins, but it's a good time investment.

Billy Talent III is the album of the century | 2009

Ben, Ian, Jon and Aaron are, like most popular bands, getting older and trying to get back to their roots. Billy talent (formerly known asPezz)is aCanadian band formed in 1993 inStreetsville, Ontario. The members met and played in high school under the name Pezz and remained underground inToronto's indie music scene until 2001.

The band renamed itself Billy Talent after running into legal trouble with the old name. It was then that Kowalewicz's connection with a worker in Warner Music Canada's A&R landed the band a record deal and launched them into mainstream success. Since then, Billy Talent has made two multi-platinum records in Canada, and continues to expand their success overseas, this included touring for 20 months supporting their second album.

My take on Billy Talent III

The reasons why I love Billy Talent are not the reasons I love this album. See, the thing is in Billy Talent 3 you can easily tell the inspiration was from mid 70's and 90's rock. That feeling was not present in the past 2 albums.

Gone is the Young Punk attitude and coming is a more grown up, solid sound with more body and less screaming. Billy Talent is no longer a punk band and more of a group of entertainers with great, fast-paced Rock music with a deeper sound with Soaring vocals and a much nicer sound overall. The production quality is beyond stellar and meets that of Nickleback and Madona.

Billy Talent was smart to keep the origional sound, Deep bass with a touch of mid and a range of high frequencies. Their sound is unique because you can hear all the instuments at once. I can tell that Ben has worked hard on the stability of his unique vocals and the Live concert of rusted from the rain says just that:

So overall Billy Talent III is a must buy. Must Must MUST!!! Every song is amaizing and worth listening to over and over again!
