The rate at which people share information, pictures, and videos is nearly immeasurable as more and more people become connected. This is the only video on the internet you should be talking about right now, because it’s the one video that shows exactly how serious the SOPA bill actually is. This isn’t another crackpot freaking out, or an extremist flying off the wall - this is a 28 year old dude that lives in the UK explaining how the people who made pizza a vegetable (aka, your government) is going to methodically destroy everything the internet stands for - this isn’t funny, and it is time for action.
While not officially licensed by DC Comics, these breast awareness ads couldn’t be any more of a tasteful and classy depiction of our female superheroes. To fight crime is one thing, but to also do PSA’s for the continued protection and well being of Earth’s citizens goes above and beyond. Drawn up by artist Maísa Chaves (on deviant art as Halfy), these comic book heroines were used in ads during the annual Mozambique Fashion Week (Dec. 5th - 10th), in which breast cancer awareness was being campaigned for. — More after the break!
So there’s this thing called piracy, and it’s sorta all the rage with folks looking to save some cash. While Jack Black may think that piracy selfishly robs funds from out of the pockets of rock gods, the Swiss government however has officially (meaning on paper) found that there’s no evidence to support that claim. On the contrary, from their studies they ran into a pretty interesting fact; that those who pirate entertainment are more likely to spend that extra wad of cash toward either attending concerts or buying other sorts of merchandise. In other words, the people in charge of Switzerland rejected legislation for new laws that fight against digital file-sharing when none were necessary to begin with. — More after the break!

Julian Assange paints the picture quite bluntly in this video where he explains that in a post-9/11 world, it’s more common than you think that spy software is being contracted out by local governments to monitor its citizens — even on their private devices.

But what happens when those same people turn their backs on Bruce Wayne, the moonlighting, playboy millionaire whose rich-boy antics make him public enemy number one? Well, as Occupy Wall Street continues to go strong, nobody seems to give any thought on just how this might affect Gotham City. I mean, can you imagine if Wayne Enterprises had to pay the taxes as us? There’d be no Batwing for sure!
