Epic select game Giveaway - Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Skyward Sword and more!

This Giveaway is now closed

A few days ago we launched the New Okay Geek with overwhelmingly positive feedback across the board. But we also didn’t forget that last week we promised to introduce a new giveaway on Friday, and the day has come! We have taken the time to hand pick 5 of this year’s most anticipated titles, and when judgement day arrives, and if you win, you’ll have to make one of the toughest decisions of your life!

What can you win?

Battlefield 3, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, or Gears of War 3 - Like we said, we have chosen 5 of this year’s hottest, latest & best titles for the winner to choose from. Instead of doing a regular game giveaway we wanted to bring some flexibility to the table so that the winner gets exactly what they want. If you are the lucky winner, you get to choose any one of these 5 titles, for any platform you choose. Skyrim for Steam (PC)? BAM! Battlefield 3 for Xbox? POW! - You customize your prize so it works for you and we make it happen. All costs are handled by us.

How you can win!

Step One

Follow us on Twitter   - & -   Like us on Facebook   - & -   Plus us on Google+

This step is required only for social networks you’re signed up for, but it’s easy. Click some buttons and bam! The more places you add us the better because we choose a random winner from each (3 runner-ups), and then choose a final (and random) winner out of the 3 runner-ups - but when it all boils down, we just want everbody to have a chance!

Step Two

Send out a Tweet   - & -   Comment on Facebook   - & -   Comment on Google+

This step is the most fun, but there are some ground rules. Do not spam, and do not be excessive. If we deem you to be spammy (multiple tweets a day, spam comments) we will ignore you if you are picked, so it’s important to stay respectful. Keep to the rule of only one of each of these per day.

Step Three (optional & will not better your chances)

Comment on this post, send us some feedback and if you see anyone abusing the giveaway, @reply us on Twitter. We want this to be fun for everyone and keep everyone engaged. We’d also like suggestions for future giveaways as well!

When and how it all ends

Winner was announced25.11.2011

Next Friday (one week from when this post was created), we will be choosing and announcing the winner around 3PM EDT and if you are said winner, you’re gonna have to make the toughest choice of your life. This is the fun part for us (maybe a little evil) because we get to see you torn between 5 of the most awesomest games this year, but once you have made a choice, we send it off as swiftly as the swing of a Notch Axe.

See what we did there?

Rules and guidelines

By entering you confirm that you understand the rules and guidelines - This contest is for USA / CA residents only. Entrants can tweet and comment once a day each, but cannot comment or tweet twice a day. Okay Geek will pay for all shipping costs, but any charges presented to you when it arrives is your responsibility. The prize cannot be substituted for cash. The winner will be randomly chosen. If you are the winner and you do not respond to us within 48 hours we will choose another winner. Sorry to be so boring, have fun!
