EVO 4G pushes Qik servers to the edge, end result isn't so good
Ha! While all time sales may be booming for HTC and Sprint, we wish the same could be said for one of its most anticipated features… Qik video calling. According to Qik, the abundance of EVO’s has lead to intermittent performance and failures after devices displaced “20x” the workload on their servers.
All we can say is ouch! But from what we’ve heard, a team of top Qik boffins are working on the issue, and it should be fixed shortly. In the meantime: let us know if you’ve been affected by this in comments.
