Flying Cars are Finally Coming Soon?

Yes kiddies, you heard right. If you’re a fan of The Jetsons, The Fifth Element, or any other Sci-Fi movie or novel worth its amount of latimum bars, then your day is almost here. Pretty soon we will be able to do airborne drive-bys on unsuspecting hoardes of zombies in our own flying car! There is no amount of awesome topping this unless Rueters reports that we’ve been invaded by the sexy aliens from V.

As for the goods, here they are: According to CNN, the Transitional Roadable Aircraft developed by Terrafugia, will be able to go a distance of up to 450 miles in flight and a 100 miles on the road. And don’t expect to win any races either because tops spead on land is about “65, 70, [miles per hour] — something like that,” said Anna Dietrich, CEO of Terrafuggia

You’ll also need a Sport’s Pilot licenses which you can get in about 2 weeks, which sounds amazing. But before you think you’re going to get your John Travolta on, you got to put a lot of pennies in the piggy bank before you be the first one on your corner with this. Costs are expected to top $194,000 when it’s finally expected to hit delivery 18 months from now. That’s withstanding its certification from FAA and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

So, here’s my question. Can I get it with those cool spinning rims?
