HTC Merge and HD7 Leaked
Whoa Nelly! This is the best leak roundup we’ve seen in a while. A very nice combination if you ask me - a QWERTY slider. a WP7 devices, and an HSPA+ 4.3 inch device. Read on for details about each!
Let’s start with the HTC Merge/Lexicon/DROID something. It’s Verizon’s dual mode CDMA/GSM Android 2.2 QWERTY slider. HTC Sense is as expected but apparently Bing is loaded on there as well, like the Samsung Fascinate. Android Central has gotten an exclusive hands on with the 800 Mhz beast so let’s take a look at some highlights. The keyboard is claimed to be more tactile than the Epic 4G’s and the build quality is better than ever. The sliding mechanism is strong and so is the 720p video recording on the 5 mp camera. A 3.7” SLCD performs the same as the DROID Incredible and DROID 2. The unit they tested wasn’t final but if you’re interested in the phone, check out their site for more images and details!
Now onto the HD7! This is the Windows Phone 7 4.3” device that HTC will hopefully be releasing some time soon. The newest leaks confirm a 1 Ghz processor, 8GB of storage, 5 mp camera, and the Dolby Sound found on the HTC Desire HD. All of this should be launched in Germany in just a short couple of weeks. Check out the source for more images and comparisons!
Note - The T-Mobile myTouch was intended to be part of this article originally but while it was being written the phone was announced. We apologize for any weirdness in the article.
