iOS 4.1 is now available for download

Well, what do you know, it looks like Apple’s UK website was right after all — iOS 4.1 is live and available for download. As you’d expect it’s available for your iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS,  iPhone 4, iPod Touch 2nd Generation, iPod Touch 3rd Generation, and last but not least your iPod Touch 4th Generation. It’s not necessarily a huge update, but it does provide you with several bug fixes (including one for the iPhone’s proximity sensor), as well as the long awaited release of Game Center. Let us know how your update path went in the comments below… Oh, and word to the wise: If you’ve jailbroken your iOS device I wouldn’t recommened installing this update just yet. At least not until someone releases a functioning jailbreak for it — don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Update by @itsbrandond

Apparently, this update caused Ricardo’s iPhone to take a spaz and re-set/delete itself. This could be an issue, but we think its just because technology hates him.
