iPod Nano Jailbroken, finds support for games, apps and TV shows
When we first saw the 6th Gen iPod Nano, we knew this thing would be Jailbroken because essentially it’s running a mini version of iOS 4. Well, a chap by the name of James Whelton decided to take a few hours in his Ireland home, and attempt to Jailbreak the iPod Nano — to our joy, he was successful — not only in Jailbreaking the device, but making some interesting discoveries…

Next is the discovery in some of the device’s plists of reference to support of Movies, TV Shows, Apps, Games, vCards, Calender events and so on, with a few other cool things like a passcode lock. With the bypass I figured out, I hope to enable these pretty soon. It seems like the OS is a rehashed version of the previous Nano’s OS — James Whelton, nanohack.me
So obviously there are some interesting things burrowed deep inside the Nano’s operating system, and hopefully @jwhelton will be able to release a Jailbreak to the public that will allow users to enable these cool features on their own Nano.
