Local news tries to comprehend Mikunopolis -- Hatsune Miku's US debut

If you profess to know anything about Japan or its culture then there’s absolutely no way you could’ve missed Hatsune Miku’s US debut at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles this past saturday. As a part of Anime Expo, the western world’s first glimpse of the Vocaloid mascot didn’t happen unnoticed either. While Miku’s first concert in Japan was reported worldwide, this LA event was covered by a local news team from the area.

Sold out nearly since its announcement, Hatsune Miku certainly has grabbed the attention of someone else outside of the land of the rising sun. Also, did anyone else catch the awkward mispronounced “manja” at 2:01?
