Officially announced last week, MineCon is happening in Las Vegas, NV on November 18 and 19th, but just last night the officieal website was launched — making it possible to throw down your cash and pay for your registration. Also, a list of events and such were posted so you don’t go just expecting to see zombie cosplayers.
Two types of pricing as available all dependent on when you register:
Advance Price: August 11 – September 30, 2011 ——- $99.00 USD
Regular/Onsite: October 1 – November 19, 2011 ——- $139.00 USD
Con-goers will be able to enjoy the following events (specific schedule given):
- Official Minecraft launch
- Keynote speeches (including one by our very own Notch)
- Build contests
- Breakout classes with all different Minecraft topics
- Costume contests
- Exhibits by leading gaming and Minecraft related companies
- Meeting friends from around the world
- Commemorative merchandise
More activities will be added as the con comes ever closer, but expect it to be packed chalk full with enough blocky goodness that you won’t ever have to wonder what to create next in your very own Minecraft world.
