MobileNoter syncs OneNote notebooks to an iPhone
“There’s an app for that” has been a key message pushed throughout Apple iPhone and iPod Touch commercials. Contrary to Apple’s statement heavy Microsoft OneNote users were constantly left out in the dark; that is of course providing that they weren’t using a Windows Mobile device co-currently. No longer do those of us whom use both an iPhone and OneNote have to sit and ferment, waiting for the ever-impending approval of an OneNote reader. Thanks to MobileNoter our OneNote fantasies are now complete; read past the break for a quick overview.
Currently MobileNoter has the ability to sync either OneNote notebooks or pages on the run. Presently available in two versions — a cloud based version that syncs data through a server and a WiFi version that syncs with any Windows PC — MobileNoter provides differing function to those who have an inclination to read OneNote notebooks on their iPhone.
Currently OneNote users have the ability to treat a page as an ever continually growing ‘canvas’. MobileNoter recognises this issue and has the ability to re-flow text, ultimately allowing an entire page to display correctly on the smaller 3.5-inch screen of the iPhone. You may be thinking well the ability to consume is all well and good but what about content creation? Through the natural ebb-and-flow of software development, MobileNoter has the ability to sync content created on your iPhone back to OneNote on your PC. — Pretty impressive if we say so ourselves.
In recognition of the upcoming iPad release there has been some rumour that an iPad palpable version is in the works. Poised to take full advantage of the iPad’s bigger screen, we may have just found another reason to drop $500.
