Monster Announces Justin Bieber Beats, iPod Dock, New Headphones

Today at the Beats by Dr. Dre Fall Preview, Monster certainly blew the crowd away performances from Soulja Boy along with Keri Hilson and 5 new interesting products. First up, let’s talk about the Beat Box. Cleverly named, it’s basically a slick $400 iPod dock pumping your phat beats by massive 5.25 inch bass drivers. Shaped in a trapezoid, your iPod slips right in on the left side, which is kinda neat.

Then we have the Beats Pro, which were announced a couple of months ago, but Monster is finally ready to ship them. $450 will get you these more DJ oriented over the ear headphones which are extra durable and have flip up cups.

The PowerBeats are a pair of sports friendly LeBron James endorsed $170 in-ear headphones. These headphones will come in red, white, or black (the colors of the Miami Heat, LeBron’s basketball team).

The iBeats will run you $120 and as you can probably tell by the name, they are targeted towards Apple device owners. They do isolate exterior noise and are constructed of all metal, making them considerably durable. The iBeats will come in black, white, chrome, or black aluminum.

But here comes the best announcement of the day - JustBeats. Purple Justin Bieber branded headphones that come in both $200 on-ear and $120 in-ear varieties: Nope, it just doesn’t get better than that kids. Monster boldly states that “Justin is a great musician that puts a lot of care into his music — who better qualified to take this message to the kids.” Now all I want to know is whether these headphones will tune his voice to be a little bit more masculine and less “squeaky” — like a noise cancelling filter, but for his voice.
