Google replaces their former phone store with an Android database

Remember back in the day when Google used their simple catchy URL www.google.com/phone for the overly simple procurement of the Nexus One? Well, what’s a company to do with such a URL now that they’re no longer selling the Nexus One you may ask? Simple, turn it into a database featuring Android handsets. According to The Official Google Mobile Blog “all the phones in the gallery include Android Market, Google Search, and other Google Mobile services such as Gmail, Maps, and YouTube.” Put simply you’ll be able to compare handsets that were blessed with Google services / not completely butchered by adding Yahoo or Bing search. If you want to give the site a test yourself hit up the source link below and wonder in the marvel that is Google’s official Android database.
