Should you buy one?
If you already have a Macbook from late 2009 I suggest not getting one of these new models because there’s nothing really substantially upgraded, besides the new processors and a slight fluctuation in price. On the other hand, if you have one from 2008 then now may be the time to upgrade, but that’s if you have the cash to throw around.
If you have a little Macbook and you want to do a “big” upgrade then try looking at the $1,499, 13” model Macbook Pro. It’s the same size, and about the same weight, but it packs a lot more punch! Also, the Mid-range 15” Macbook Pro is a great choice because it features the 500GB Hard Drive and Core i5 processor as a standard.
