Okay Geek Switches to Comic Sans

For years, we have used Arial as our main font but after time passed we realized we needed to spice things up. Today, we are announcing our switch to Comic Sans. It’s beautiful, elegent and it is a pleasure to read but yet provides a robust compliment to our design. We love it, and we think you will too!

    Why Did we do it?

Well, after years of research, we discovered that a lot of people who browse Okay Geek are Dyslexic, and Comic Sans is the friendliest font for serving that purpose. On the flip side, Comic Sans is a great font when reading for long periods of time. Studies show that over 80% of people have less eye strain when reading text using Comic Sans, and even more when the text is larger.

We couldn’t be more excited to introduce our use of Comic Sans and we know your going to think it’s fantastic. We are trying our best to fine-tune our font sizes (we think 20px is best) and make sure readability is priority one. We’re currently re-working our logos and images to reflect the new font, so everything should be matching by next week.
