Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus free on AT&T and Verizon

With dwindling sales for both of Palm’s WebOS smartphones, it seems like the only reasonable thing to do would be to make these devices free on contract. To celebrate the launch of the HP Wireless Central Store, both the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are free for a limited time on your choice of either AT&T or Verizon. As a bonus, the slider comes with an accessory pack including a Bluetooth headset, a car charger and a leather case (valued at $100). Now I wonder what Sprint will do with its $100 first generation devices it has in stock.
