RPG Merchants never give us a good deal, even after saving their kids

When it comes to playing an RPG, the most important thing that can help us on our quest of saving the world are merchants that sell us the weapons and equipment we need. Unfortunately, the stuff they sell is super expensive and (especially early on in the game) you don’t have a lot of cash to throw around. They do give you a 5% discount, but that’s only after saving their house from burning to the ground, rescuing their doughter and preventing their town from being invaded by bandits.
