Sony Xperia X10 Coming to the US in a Couple of Hours

According to this countdown teaser found on Sony’s website, a black rectangular object is coming in just a couple of hours. Need we really speculate on what this object will be? It is obviously the Xperia X10! Just take a look at the general design of the device! But the biggest giveaway is probably the reflection of the screen: a clear Xperia Android skin. To further support this, expert Photoshoppers have messed around with the brightness and gotten an exact image of the Xperia X10.
But the teaser put aside, how will this actually affect the Android market in the US? Sure, we already have quite a lot of 4 inch devices. What will make this one special? It’s not as if Sony’s previous Xperia devices have totally blown our minds. Well, it’s most likely coming to AT&T, according to rumors. Now that will make a difference. Currently, the only “high-end” Android phone you can get with AT&T is the Samsung Captivate and that device doesn’t feel very high-end at all. Sony Ericsson’s hardware has always been pretty legendary but what I really hope for is a shocker like Android 2.2 or at least 2.x! Anyways, the countdown site is in the source link.
