T-Mobile Unveils Dell Streak 7, Teases Streak 10
At today’s T-Mobile CES press event, the carrier came clean with the Dell Streak 7 (a.k.a. the Looking Glass tablet we saw leaked before). Then at the Dell keynote, we got a quick glimpse of the Streak 10.
Dell Streak 7
If you look at the Dell Streak and Streak 7, side by side, you’ll notice that there isn’t much of a difference in terms of design. The three Android buttons have been shifted slightly due to the new screen real estate and the earpiece has been removed, but apart from that, you can definitely tell they’re both from the same family. Dell’s Stage UI runs great on the dual core 1 GHz Tegra 2 processor but sadly on Android 2.2. 16 GB - 32 GB of storage is built in with the obligatory SD card expansion. Cameras include 1.3 megapixel front and 5 megapixel back. The 800 x 480 screen resolution is the same as the Streak, resulting in a lower pixel density, but Gorilla Glass is still here.

We know next to nothing about this device. Dell teased it on stage for about 5 seconds and then mentioned that we’d see it again next year. Judging from the picture though, it runs Android with some sort of skin on top with an eBook app. We can’t wait for this iPad competitor to show its face once more - that is, given it’ll be running Honeycomb next time.
