TypoPhone - A minimalist lockscreen for Jailbroken iPhones

The best thing about the iPhone is the cutesy interface, and we all know it. The little flipping book pages, spongy scrolling and shiny buttons all make for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately it does get old eventually. The thing is, I know all you snobby web designers love this “minimalism” thing and once I saw this, I just had to share.

TypoPhone is a beautiful lockscreen modification for the iPhone (you’ll need to jailbreak) that brings simplicity back to your complicated gadget — but here is the kicker. This is going to require some familiarity with adding repositories, installing jailbroken apps and navigating the iPhone’s filesystem. It’s not going to be easy, but the payoff is well worth it — I mean, look at that photo above!

Note: Do not attempt this if you aren’t comfortable with lightweight hackery.
