The radar this week pointed us to the stories of Wigu! A comic with cutsy drawings, and the ability to fill your day with laughs. Wigu! revolves around the husky main character whose name is, you guessed it, wigu, and his unbelievable day to day life.
Each day in Wigu’s world is spread over anywhere form forty to one hundred comics and at a glance, Wigu just seems like just another super cutsey web comic that relies on the main character getting to loads of troubles, then blindly stumbling their way out.
I have nothing against those web comics, but Wigu’s humour is all innuendos, all the time, and ohhh the innuendos! Humor that rely heavily on innuendos have always seemed like the poor mans comedy writing, but for lack of a better term — Holy Crap. Wigu’s implementation if the humor is so smooth and very hidden, even dirty and others just plain funny!
Wigu is both written and drawn by Jeffrey Rowland, who can not only nail amazing innuendos, but can land a punchline like no other. This is one of the very rare comic’s that has a storyline, but you can jump in anywhere you please and still have a blast. Wigu is currently updating Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
