Study Proves Cell Phones Don't Cause Cancer... for now

Forget the bluetooth. You can now breathe easy when shoving a cell phone by your ear during a call; A 5 year study, spanning over 4 countries, has shown no substantial evidence that might prove that mobile phones' emitting low frequencies cause cancer in their users. It sounds like good news, but we're not in the clear, yet. The fact of the matter is that the study is only 5 years old - scientists and doctors have to assume that brain tumors could take longer to develop than just 5 short years.

So if you're feeling iffy about the whole thing, maybe it's best to put in that bluetooth headset again. Yeah, I know, you look like a dork with it on. But hey! It's either that or potentially brain cancer. You choose your silent killer.

The game also stays at a steady framerate.

The full game is available in the App store right now, and its now Free! on sale for $1.00, also there is a free lite version too. Its sure to bring smiles to classic gamers everywhere, and with its tuned graphics engine, it should please new gamers as well.

Gran Turismo 5 Demo comes to PSN Dec. 17th... maybe

It's been just about 2 full years since Gran Turismo 5 Prologue was released in Japan, and there hasn't been much left after to get people excited for the actual game that was supposed to follow. Well, that's changed today since we're finally getting our hands on a demo that may actually reflect a build of the real game 2 years since the last "check in" with the fans.

December 17th, 2009 is the tentative date for GT5: Time Trial Challenge to be released. Strangely it's not called GT5 Demo, which is worrying some people, wondering if this is even a demo or something completely unrelated. It would seriously suck if this was just one or two trial races  instead of a full, deserved demo. Hmm...

YouTube Lite Beta Now Live

Youtube is known for throwing its weight around and slowing down comp's with lower specs. Just to name one specifically, the Netbook. To help remedy this very real issue Youtube has decided to beta test a new feature known as "FeatherLite". Stripping down the site to its bare, posting comments and sharing video features are disabled, but little is missed. It's a much cleaner look and I wish that this would be standard on Youtube as a whole.

You can get in on the beta HERE

John Hodgman Uses a Mac - on Diggnation

Who knew, the character that all the Mac Fanboys laughed at in fact, uses a Mac. As seen on the latest Diggnation Episode 231 Kevin and Alex sneak into Johns office and later get down to business. After a quick intro and a sip of beer, John reveals (not for the first time) that apparently he has been a proud Mac user since 1984 since the famous first Apple Mac ad, and John is still 100% Mac.
