Nokia E66 and E71 get free Ovi Maps integration

Ask someone what the most compelling feature of Nokia smartphones are, and you’ll almost always get told Ovi Maps. For some time the venerable E71 and E66 where oblivious to Nokia’s own navigation service, however, that’s now destined to change. Nokia’s currently offering their free version of Ovi Maps to the legacy S60 3.1 handsets (and while it won’t provide you with premium nav services) you’ll still be able to free walk and receive in car turn-by-turn navigation. Unfortunately those who picked up the US branded version of the E71 (E71x) aren’t eligible for the free update.
