Windows 7 gets ported to a Fusion Garage JooJoo

Imagine the Fusion Garage JooJoo, but only slightly cooler — yeah, and by JooJoo standards that “coolness” is equal to a snowman in the Kalahari. Nevertheless, darkdavy (whom, may we congratulate for actually purchasing a JooJoo) felt that his restrictive web browser only based tablet was, well… too restrictive. So, what’s a boy to do? Well, if you want to follow in the footsteps of darkdavy, you may want to slap a freshly primed copy of Windows 7 on there. Using only the JooJoo’s stock hardware, he was able to create to a device with quote “flawless” 720p movie playback. He’s also noted that the only major drawbacks are lack of support for the accelerometer and inbuilt 3G modem, but other than that everything’s just peachy. Oh, and if you’re thinking that this is just some sort of pipe-dream, then hop past the break for some concrete proof.

iPad frozen inside a chocolate slab

iPad frozen inside a chocolate slab

We saw this on Engadget, and we were really suspicious that this would fail miserably, but after seeing the original article… well, it’ll put a smile on your face - See the photos

HTC EVO glass displays begin peeling?

Ever wondered what happens when adhesive holding a glass capacitive display to an EVO begins to peel off? Yeah neither had we, but unfortunately there have been several reports of this strange phenomenon occurring. The EVO was already prone to light leakage below the capacitive buttons, but apparently the more you use your device, the more prevalent the issue becomes — and well, it’s kind of hard not to use the screen on a touchscreen device. There hasn’t been any official word from HTC, however; in the meantime may we suggest babying your device more so than usual? Hit us up in comments if you’ve been affected.

WWDC Keynote WiFi Problem due to iPhone 4 Drivers

Oh snap! I added the video (to the left) for you to reference, and judge by. Glenn Fleishman from Ars Technica (who is an admitted WiFi expert) has torn apart the hiccup that everyone experienced during Apple’s keynote.

Apparently, all of the 500+ WiFi base stations we’re not entirely to blame for the problems that Steve Jobs experienced during the keynote. Apparently, the main problem was glitchy drivers in iOS 4 in the iPhone - Read more
