Normally we have to wait months for new iOS updates but luckily this beautiful update is coming out way next week via iTunes as usual. It will feature Game Center, iTunes Ping and TV show/Movie rentals. You’ll be able to download it soon, but here are some things to know.
All iPod touche devices should be getting Game Center, Ping and Movie/TV rentals without an issue, but iPod 2nd gen (late 2008) users will still not have Multitasking, Bluetooth keyboard support or Wallpaper… but hey, it’s still a free update right?

Steve says peopled missed the buttons but liked you could talk to you iPod Shuffle. So now we have the best of both worlds. For $49 you can have a digital music player for up to 15 hours.

This is a huge move for Apple in the music device world. The new iPod Touch is literally a iPhone without the ability to make phone calls. It’s going to be a new revolution with the ability to record HD video, edit video, Facetime, all on a device that doesn’t have to be your phone. if only they’d offer a 3G plan…
Apple Launches the new 2010 iPod Nano - It's so cute
Yeah, this is a pretty big deal — I feel the iPod Nano has suffered from identity issues — being updated along with the iPod Touch and iPhone, but still using an out-dated form facter, like the Classic. Now the iPod nano features a tiny little touchscreen which you can flip by wiggling your fingers. it also comes in a bunch of colors.

Steve has stated there have been many bugs in the latest update and this will hopefully fix all those problems. Added to iOS 4.1 is HDR photos, HD video upload over wifi, TV show rentals, and finally Game Center!

Since Apple has created the revolutionary app store, they have had over 6.5 Billion downloads. That’s 200 hundred apps every second! This is incredible and proving the iPhone changed the way we look at our phones and applications.
