Kevin Rose has updated the Digg blog today, explaining some of the current issues and how they have fixed them. One of these things is the Algorithm which will “prevent any single source or user from dominating the homepage” — but as of now, all we see in My News and Top news is broken axles and oxen…
Warning: Fake TweetDeck Update on Twitter
It looks like some hackers are trying to take advantage of unsuspecting TweetDeck users. TweetDeck’s Official Support page state’s the following — “We are seeing a number of updates on Twitter urging users to download a file called “tweetdeck-08302010-update.exe” from a URL beginning withhttp://alturl.com/. — These tweets are from hacked accounts and this file does not come from us. Do not download it.

The Raging War on Digg - 3 Part Comic
Yeah, thats right — some crazy guy has created a 3 part, full blown comic — seeming tell the story of Digg’s loosing battle over the past week. It includes mechs, guns, and has a “Day after tomorrow” feel. The art style is addictive, and the comic itself is beyond entertaining. Truly a piece of internet history in the best form possible — a geeky comic. But the thing is, this was created back in December 2009, and the weird part is, it basically predicted the future!
