Mozilla F1 for Firefox allows you to share stuff inside the browser

Having used every browser available, and finally settling on Google Chrome, I have never desired to move back to Firefox — until now. Being able to share stuff through Twitter, Facebook and Gmail (the main services I use) just by clicking a few buttons is really compelling. With F1, it seems that simplicity is key and I have a feeling I am going to use Firefox way more often…

Worlds greatest CoD: Black Ops kill using a Tomahawk

Worlds greatest CoD: Black Ops kill using a Tomahawk

This is probably the best thing I have seen this week. This is a completely impossible kill in Call of Duty: Black Ops made by JudgedFire (re-uploaded by HazardCinema for some reason) and we hope nobody manages to do this while we’re playing — ‘cause getting a tomahawk in your ass is embarrassing.

Amazon's Kindle store is selling "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure"

Whoops! We’re sure this isn’t what Amazon intended! — as @Daphne on Twitter said it, “Srsly Amazon are you kidding me with this?,” we can’t help but ask the same thing — what the hell is this doing on the Kindle book store? I mean, it’s a pedophile’s guide to love and pleasure, and if that doesn’t freak you out, wait till you hear exactly what the book’s about…

App Review: Road Hog for iPhone

I’ll be frank, I’ve never really liked racing games that much on the iPhone/iPod touch. But since I was sent this app to review I thought I’d give it a try. It’s not really a racing game per se, but an arcade style game where the objective is simple: to have fun. Sadly, the game is quite repetitive and you boredom sets in fast, yet somehow it manages to still worth checking out.

Road Hog is a 3rd person overhead racer, where the player drives around obstacles while trying to pick up stars and power-up cubes. There are several different power-up’s; a heath cube that gives you one heart, an invincibility cube, a weapon cube that allows you to shoot an incoming obstacle, and a freeze cube that slows things down allowing you to move around obstacles much easier. There is also a jump command that springs your car into the air. It doesn’t jump very high or far but it still helps in tight situations. If you try to jump over everything you will just damage your vehicle and you’ll eventually lose the race — Read on for more details.

First Open Source Kinect driver available for download

First Open Source Kinect driver available for download

This is amazing for two different reasons — the first is that Kinect will now have endless uses when it comes to robotics and modding, without the need of an Xbox. The second is that Hector Martin, the guy who managed to hack it did so in 3 hours after buying it. He also should receive $3,000 from Adafruit industries, who has a bounty on whoever has an opensource driver first. High Fives!

You can grab the driver over at Hector’s Github

iOS 4.2 coming to the iPad on Friday

Apple had said that the iPad was getting iOS 4.2 sometime in November, and so far we haven’t seen anything. Apple was originally set to release iOS 4.2 for iPad last Tuesday, but a bug was found that didn’t display Japanese characters properly so Apple was forced to fix it and thus iOS 4.2 for iPad was pushed to Friday — according to MacStories source.
