Google Nexus S Uncovered

It doesn’t get more real than this - that is, until Google announces it. What you’re looking at is supposedly the successor to HTC’s Nexus One. Why Google has suddenly decided to use a Samsung device as a flagship we know not but what we do know is that it will run Gingerbread when it launches. More pictures at the source!

Give your Xbox 360 controller hair triggers with N-Control

This is the most weird/awesome/stupid thing we have ever seen, paired with a horrible demo video. The only reason this deserves publicity is for the way this thing looks. It makes your Xbox 360 controller look like it’s going to jump up and eat your face — really cool, but useful?

Short Film - A Life on Facebook

Ever wonder how someone’s life might look on Facebook? This short film by Maxime Luere really paints a bleak picture of what life is all about, and in the end somewhat simplifies our entire existence into a few moments and photos.

Jolibook - Jolicloud's Netbook Launching "Soon"

We’ve talked about the ultra light, cloud based OS, Jolicloud before (now available for all devices, including netbooks), but what we haven’t mentioned is that the folks behind it are getting into the netbook game themselves.

Jolicloud dubs their first mobile entry the “Jolibook”, which under the hood will offer a dual core Atom N550 processor (1.5GHZ), a 250 GB HD, will run Jolicloud 1.1, include a VGA out port, and an undisclosed amount of USB ports. Interestingly enough, the netbook will be entirely HTML5 based, will come packaged with Chromimum, and have the ability to stream 720p HD video - a tall order for a netbook.

How America consumes 3.6 Zettabytes of data every single day

We are a generation that sucks everything up like a sponge, from videos to text and music to code, todays technology has made us eager for more. From the year 1980 through 2008 the amount of data consumed by Americans has increased by 6% every year and has risen to an incredibly gigantic 3.6 zettabytes, (or one billion trillion bytes,) and there is no sign of slowing.

Kid Builds a Belt Fed Machine Gun out of Lego

This video came out a while back, but it’s just too awesome to ignore. Streaty121 has become a Youtube sensation, boasting over 5.8 Million views to his videos of insanely accurate an detailed guns built from Legos. We’re not sure if he has ever gotten any success from his creations (job offers, Lego kit deals etc.) but if he keeps it up, the sky is the limit.
