Use Hacker Typer to make yourself look like a real hacker

So, you have a dream to be one of those Hollywood hackers with your fingers flying on the keyboard spewing out code onto a green and black screen, and eventually having “Access Granted” to the pentagon. Well, there’s a new web app that allows you to do this called Hacker Typer and if you are familiar with real code, you can be rest assured there’s a good chance you could actually fool fellow coders — I mean, it’s pretty damn accurate/convincing.

Sony unveils their new tablets, do we have to call them iPad killers?

Sony unveils their new tablets, do we have to call them iPad killers?

It seems that every new tablet that is released requires the headline “iPad killer”, but we haven’t really seen any company touch the toes of the iPad nor catch a whif of the dust the iPad 2 left behind it. It seems as though Apple has this market pretty much in the bag, and unfortunately we don’t think anyone will come close to Apple anytime soon. It just puzzles us that all of these companies (which are 10x the size of Apple) haven’t yet figured out Apple’s secret sauce… I mean the iPad is just another tablet right?

So, they've mapped the entire internet

So we have survived decade after decade of the internet and we’ve somehow managed to end up making it awesome, but what does the intertubes look like exactly? I mean it can’t actually be a series of tubes right? Well according to this diagram from Peer1, it does seem that the internet is in-fact made up of a series of tubes and that Ted Stevens was actually right after all — check out the giant, football sized diagram after the break!

Xbox 360 - Mortal Kombat Review

It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen a serious entry into the Mortal Kombat franchise. While Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe was a great game in it’s own way, it suffered from the lack of ridiculous fatalities and visuals as well as being on a 3D plane, which hampered the fighting in annoying ways. Billed as a reboot of the franchise, Mortal Kombat is back and it’s one of the best fighters out there, with it’s excellent gameplay, surprisingly excellent story and all of the gruesome, over the top fatalities you’ve come to expect from the series. — Our full review after the break!

Breaking: Sony has admitted to PSN breach, personal information may have been compromised

Finally, Sony has opened its mouth! SCEA’s Patrick Seybold has admitted that PSN accounts and any of your personal information on them, including credit cards, personal information, date of birth etc could have been compromised in this attack. Here’s an almost shocking quote from Seybold’s statement:While there is no evidence at this time that credit card data was taken, we cannot rule out the possibility. This probably isn’t the best day for Sony right now. —  Seybold’s full quote after the break!
