Wife says no to iPad 2, Apple says yes and sends one for free
When you think of Apple, you think of stern, cold-hearted executives trying to suck the life out of people’s wallets. You see Steve Jobs smirking as he counts his money and watches the iSheep line up and buy their new iPad. Never would you have thought Apple would do something like this.
Since the day people started buying iPad 2’s, Apple’s main focus has been inspecting iPad 2’s that have been returned, looking for any major flaws. There are many reason’s someone would return an iPad, and this guy had a good one — he had bought an iPad 2 without asking and his wife told him to take it back. Someone very close to Apple told MacRumors this story:
Apple’s focus this week has been to troubleshoot all the iPad 2s that customers are returning to the stores. One iPad came back with a post it note on it that said “Wife said no.” It was escalated as something funny, and two of the VPs got wind of it. They sent the guy an iPad 2 with a note that said “Apple says yes”.
So next time you think Apple is made up of lifeless business men, remember that they still have a bunch of hippies working at corporate. Oh Apple…
