Xbox Kinect Priced at $149 on Amazon

Microsoft didn’t announce a price during their press conference at E3 on Monday morning for the Kinect, but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from listing one of this year’s hottest gaming items at $149. We’re not sure on the validity of this price since it’s not confirmed yet by Microsoft, however, it’s already become the second highest selling item on Amazon right now next to the Xbox Live 12 Month Gold Card.
I think this is a pretty fair prince, considering what Kinect says it’s going to do and such. Though I’m a bit reluctantly myself to throw down over 100 bucks for something I’m not sure works as well as people are hoping. From what I saw from all the people using the Kinect games and stations, it wasn’t 100% reliable, but then again the Wii also has it’s limitations and people bought that like hot cakes. I guess time will tell. Xbox Kinect releases Novemeber 4th.
