128GB SDXC cards coming this Spring thanks to Lexar
Lexar, you know how to pull at a geek’s heartstrings don’t you? In beautiful downtown Las Vegas early yesterday, Lexar — makers of all things storage related — announced the world’s first 128GB SDXC card. That’s right, 128 whopping GBs of storage in a single SD card!
Of course, if you’re hoping to get one it won’t come cheap, at $700 a card you might want to think twice before slapping one into your digital SLR. After all, at that price it works out to be $5.40 a gigabyte; but should you require an equal chunk of storage for less the price, Lexar’s got you covered once again. For as little as $399 you could walk away with a 64GB SDXC card. Cards are due to begin shipping early this Spring, in the meantime how about checking the press release below?
