How to use an Apple Magic Mouse with Windows
Apple's Magic mouse is a very appealing product, not because it looks like something from 2023, or it has multitouch gestures, but because it is something else we can hack. You can go grab one at an Apple store (don't wear your I'm a PC shirt) for about 70 bucks. We'll give you 30 min, 40 min if you need to grab a coffee while your out. Then come back after to find out how after the break.
Thanks to a little hackery from Apple’s Bluetooth Update (located here) the Magic Mouse's driver was extracted via WinRar resulting in a 32bit version and a 64bit version that you can install on any ordinary Windows PC that is running Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It will even enable all the scrolling ‘magic’ of the Magic Mouse. Enjoy and leave a comment on how it worked out for you!
