I don't care what anyone thinks, this guy is seriously trolling everyone. Sure, he brings his DS around and takes pictures with it and so on, but anyone could keep a running gag going to get attention - and remember, this IS Japan we're talking about, where anti-socialites usually stay in their rooms and fear the outside world. This guy is socializing it up, getting press and internet status just by coming up with the idea to marry his DS - which of course isn't legally binding.
There are much more crazier people out there, but I don't think he's one of them. In my honest opinion this is where the mainstream culture's perception of "reality" is getting blurred by those of the internet culture. Here's what one anon user commented on the video:
The funny part is to CNN and the general media this guy is a psycho, to me and gamers a-like this guy just has a good sense of humour lol.
