Streaming off the Cloud Coming Soon to iTunes?

Apple's acquisition of Lala late last year made insider's wonder what the company was up to. Streaming your iTunes library has always been the stuff of dreams for users like me, but now it's shaping up to be a realistic feature coming to iTunes later this year. Sources aren't confident in any announcement coming next week's at Apple's event, but I'm sure we'll be hearing more and more about it as 2010 wheels on.

This move would really work in Apple's favor as their undeniably real tablet device and iPhone could stream a user's entire catalog while on the go, without the need to painstakingly sync which songs you want to take with you; which in turn would make the size of the hard drives inside those products irrelevant since it would all be loaded off the cloud. Well, maybe we're not there yet to be completely dependent on cumulonimbus storage, but I would think that's the ideal future. [Electronista]
