Breaking: Windows Mobile 7 lacks Flash

Following in the  footsteps of the iPhone, Adobe announced today that Windows Mobile 7 won't support flash. Of course Windows Mobile 7 hasn't been announced yet but we're fairly certain that the exclusion of flash is not destined to change.

Here's what Adobe had to say:

"Microsoft and Adobe are working closely together. While the newest version of Windows Phone won't support Flash at initial availability, both companies are working to include a browser plug-in for the full Flash player in future versions of Windows Phone. More details will be shared at Microsoft MIX next month."

Whilst this most likely refers to Windows Mobile 7, it could be argued that "the newest version of Windows Phone" is actually Windows Mobile 6.5.3. -- Just putting it out there.
