Acer and Ferrari make a limited edition Liquid E

It may not be a Ferrari Scuderia, or an Enzo, it may not even have a top speed of 240mph, but if you’re in the market for a limited edition Ferrari branded handset, then Acer’s prepared to hook you up. What we’re looking at here is the same Acer Liquid E with Android 2.1 that launched forever and a day ago; its not overly special (and we’re actually surprised Acer turned it into a limited edition handset), but if you’ve always wanted to own a Ferrari (and lets face it, at some point you have) then this handset will get you where you need to go… GPS permitting. By now you should know what makes this thing tick, but in case you’ve forgotten, let us refresh your memory. Inside you’ll find a 1GHz Snapdragon (underclocked to 768MHz), a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, and an included 8GB microSD card. There’s no word on pricing or availability, but knowing Ferrari and Acer it’ll probably be a case of “too much” and “too late.”
