Android 2.2 'Froyo' enables 802.11n WiFi

You know what we like? Raw cookie dough and pizza, but a close second is 802.11n WiFi. The folks over at AndroidCentral and Fone Frenzy recently noticed that their respective Nexus One’s were browsing the web at Wireless N speeds (to clarify: when paired with a Wireless N capable router). Surprisingly enough, it appears that Froyo (Android 2.2) has managed to enable 802.11n functionality behind the scenes. The only question left to ask is: Why didn’t Google tell anyone?
