Android Froyo Source Code is Served!

According to the good folks at Android Developers - the official source code for Android 2.2 has been released. What does this mean for us, the user? Nothing right now. However, if you are a developer, hobbyist, home brewer or an all around ROM cooker, today is your day.

Granted, if you possess a Nexus One, chances are you are going to get the update first. And if you’re a sense user (EVO 4G users, that’s us), then you’re probably going to get an official update later this year. Now all that’s left is for the developer community to serve up this frozen treat with all kinds of confections. I’ll take mine with sprinkles!
